Unfortunately, this was a very very bad experience. Felt like eating in a gas station. We were told pizza only, no pasta. The pizza was hardly edible. The service was miserable. Place was not clean. The positive reviews very much threw us off. Do not recommend.

Grundsätzlich schreibe ich keine Rezensionen. Doch was wir heute erlebt haben, habe ich selbst außerhalb Italiens noch nicht gegessen. Wir haben uns ein Restaurant ausgesucht, was etwas abseits der Touristenwege in Pienza liegt, weil wir damit immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatten und, weil die Berichte gut waren bzw. die Bilder auch gut ausschaut...

Grundsätzlich schreibe ich keine Rezensionen. Doch was wir heute erlebt haben, habe ich selbst außerhalb Italiens noch nicht gegessen. Wir haben uns ein Restaurant ausgesucht, was etwas abseits der Touristenwege in Pienza liegt, weil wir damit immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatten und, weil die Berichte gut waren bzw. die Bilder auch gut ausschauten. 2 Margarita-Pizzen bestellt, denn Pasta gab es nämlich nicht, nach der Aussage der Bedienung. Die Pizzen kamen dann auch. Der Anblick war etwas "überraschend". Oder eher grotesk! Kein aufgegangener Rand. Mozzarella war eher in Tröpfchen verstreut als in Stücken auf der Pizza. Wenn es überhaupt Mozzarella war. Die Tomatensauce hatte etwas von der Farbe von Tomaten, war aber so wässrig und hatte wenig Geschmack. Es war nix frisch an der "Pizza" und selbst der Basilikum, der auf der Karte gestanden ist, hat gefehlt. Das man in Italien so etwas als Pizza verkaufen darf, ist schon ziemlich absurd. Kurz: es war ekelhaft sowas zu essen!

Pour moins de 10€ la pizza. Les pizzas étaient bonnes. Pas exceptionnelles non plus. La terrasse est simple, les tables aussi. Clairement cela ne nous a pas déra...

Pour moins de 10€ la pizza. Les pizzas étaient bonnes. Pas exceptionnelles non plus. La terrasse est simple, les tables aussi. Clairement cela ne nous a pas déranger. Mais si vous aimez plutôt un restaurant avec de belles tables dressées sur une belle terrasse, ceci n'est peut être pas un endroit pour vous.

Ci siamo fermati in questo posto per le recensioni positive e cercavamo un piatto veloce per continuare la visita della città. Abbiamo quindi ordinato 2 piatti di pici cacio e pepe.... già dall'aspetto non promettevano bene: un ammasso biancastro di pasta scotta, il cacio non si percepiva nemmeno, quello che invece saltava al palato era la quanti...

Ci siamo fermati in questo posto per le recensioni positive e cercavamo un piatto veloce per continuare la visita della città. Abbiamo quindi ordinato 2 piatti di pici cacio e pepe.... già dall'aspetto non promettevano bene: un ammasso biancastro di pasta scotta, il cacio non si percepiva nemmeno, quello che invece saltava al palato era la quantità esagerata di pepe. Oltre a questo il cestino del pane in tavola aveva dei pezzi di focaccia di giorni prima e non era un giorno festivo. Abbiamo lasciato il piatto a metà e ce ne siamo andati.

The vegetarian pizza (which I asked to be without cheese) was awful had slices of raw potatoes in it which I had to remove, the dough was mediocre, the tomato sauce tasteless, pieces of veg wafer thin. The other standard veggie pizza was drenched in cheese couldn't even see the veg, it also had no tomato sauce on it. Ok priced and decent service bu...

Ok priced and decent service but it's far off from what I would call a good pizza or for a place to call itself a pizzeria. So disappointing considering it's Italy and you expect them to make decent pizza.

Oggi ho fatto pranzo qui. Tutto buonissimo e prezzi anti-inflazione. Bravi! Ci tornerò di sicuro. Inoltre c'è un bel giardino dove rilassarsi.

After the days of constant rip-offs (overpriced and low quality), we finally ate well 'as a local' at Pancaffe Chicco. Bravo!

Klimatyczny ogródek, blisko centrum, a zarazem w spokojnym, cichym miejscu. Przyzwoita, smaczna pizza. Bardzo otwarta i miła obsługa, mimo trudności z porozumieniem się po angielsku, dogadaliśmy się bez słów. Warto zajrzeć na budżetowy posiłek w typie fastfood.

Nichts gegen das typische toskanische Essen(auch super lecker 😉), aber irgendwann will man als deutscher Tourist auch mal eine gute pizza oder ein Pasta essen, wie man Sie von den italienischen Restaurants in der Heimat kennt. Sieht von außen nach nichts besonderen aus, davon...

Achtung Geheimtipp in Pienza ! Hat uns den heutigen Abend gerettet 😌. Nichts gegen das typische toskanische Essen(auch super lecker 😉), aber irgendwann will man als deutscher Tourist auch mal eine gute pizza oder ein Pasta essen, wie man Sie von den italienischen Restaurants in der Heimat kennt. Sieht von außen nach nichts besonderen aus, davon nicht abschrecken lassen. Der Kellner hat auch etwas gebraucht bis er da war ( war aber auch alleine 😉, man ist ja auch nur Mensch). Dann kommt die Karte, super in Englisch Beschrieben (man kann sich aus einzelnen Nudelarten + Saucen die eigene Wunschpasta zusammensetzen. 2 Seiten der Karte sind nur den Pizzen gewidmet ( sehr viele vegetarische Varianten 😌 für meine Freundin sehr wichtig, die ist nämlich kein Fleisch). Neben uns saßen fast nur Italiener (locals) meist ein gutes Zeichen. Hauswein bestellen (bester rosso den ich bis jetzt nach 7Tage Toskana getrunken habe 🍷. Pizzen waren der Hammer und das ab 7,50€. Alles in allen ein absolut gelungenes Abendessen und wirklich vom Herzen weiter zu empfehlen.
